Give to Fresno State

Giving Societies

Heritage Society

The Heritage Society offers recognition to alumni and friends who make the commitment to include Fresno State in long-range giving plans. These individuals do so through bequests, trusts, real estate gifts, insurance gifts, charitable gift annuities or other estate planning tools.

Heritage Society members are honored through on-campus gatherings where they learn about future university plans, student and faculty successes and meet like-minded donors whose commitment is a legacy of generosity.

In addition, new members to the Heritage Society whose giving plans equal Pinnacle Society thresholds are recognized at the annual Pinnacle Society event.

Pinnacle Society

The Pinnacle Society is devoted to honoring individuals whose years of thoughtful and generous contributions have made a distinct difference in education at Fresno State.

Pinnacle Founders are the philanthropic pioneers who have given $100,000 or more during their lifetimes to enhance academics, assist students, build facilities and advance other Fresno State programs.

The society has two more levels: The $500,000 El Capitan level and the $1 million Paramount level. Numerous Founders are now a part of the Paramount group.

Included in the recognition for these two levels are art pieces depicting Ansel Adams' famous image of "Moon and Half Dome." A medallion with the image is given to El Capitan members, while a crystal obelisk including the scene is given to Paramount members.
