News — University Communications

The news team provides University information and news to internal and external groups. Fresno State News is your first stop for news about the university community, offering complete coverage of all major news events at Fresno State. Working closely with colleges, departments and programs, the staff prepares news releases and media advisories, arranges news conferences and connects faculty experts with media.

Lisa Boyles Bell, public information officer, works with media on a daily basis. Eddie Hughes is a writer and editor who also coordinates the Fresno State Magazine. BoNhia Lee is a writer who covers student and faculty success, research and other news for Fresno State News and the Fresno State Magazine. Jessica Piffero directs and coordinates our social media channels across campus.
