Bronco Wine Co. Viticulture Chair
Viticulture specialist Dr. S. Kaan Kurtural is Fresno State’s first Bronco Wine Co.
Viticulture Chair. The endowment established by the Bronco Wine Co. allows Kurtural
to research grape production and vineyard management. Because of Kurtural’s expertize,
Fresno State is the only university in the world to offer a course in mechanized viticulture.
“The position has become a model for other chairs across campus and has helped us
develop partnerships with industry wineries and agrichemical companies,” says Kurtural.
“the Bronco Wine Company has opened up so many doors of opportunity for the university.”

questions the Center for Creativity and the Arts seeks to answer.
Established by a $1 million endowment from an anonymous donor, the Center for Creativity and the Arts is the first center dedicated to the challenges facing the Valley and beyond by engaging diverse communities in artistic and intellectual discovery to understand, transform and inspire. Each year the center explores an important issue facing our society from a cross-disciplinary perspective.
The Center for Creativity and the Arts hosts a wide variety of provocative films, lectures, readings, performances. Most events are free and open to the public, helping to fill an artistic void in the community.
