Brand Strategy and Marketing
Video has the ability to impact audiences and effectively share our culture, ideas and beliefs.
Visual content is the key to great engagement and a well-produced video is no exception. Videos offer an evocative way of engaging with our audience, tapping into their emotions and instilling feelings that drives actions.
Video is one of the most effective ways to share stories of our students, faculty, staff and alumni. Because of the incorporation of sight, sound and movement, videos are designed to engage our audience in a way that sparks emotion and response. And, with content being increasingly consumed through mobile devices, video offers a fast, user-friendly way to highlight Fresno State’s culture and unique brand positioning.

Captioning
Making videos accessible
Captions allow people who are Deaf or hearing impaired to have access to your videos. They are a transcription of all audio elements of a video, including dialogue, sound effects and descriptions of music and song lyrics (if they are important in the context of the video).
Captions may be either 'open' or 'closed'. Open captions are encoded onto a video and will be seen by anyone who watches it. Closed captions can be turned on and off by the viewer.
If you have questions about video captioning and recommended software or services, contact the video production office at 559.278.4668.
To make a request for Real-Time Captioning (RTC) for classroom or academic purposes, please contact Services for Students with Disabilities at 559.278.2811 or email ssdstaff@csufresno.edu.
